Yorkshire’s Joe Root will assume the role of Interim Captain for the team, with additions to the squad including Jofra Archer and Jordan Cox.
Vice-captain Harry Brook has been passed over for the captaincy, with Joe Root taking on the leadership responsibilities. The incident involving Stokes and Atkinson at the nightclub is subject to an ECB investigation, with further details to be revealed in the future. Saracens also released a statement acknowledging an incident involving one of their academy players connected to the team.
