A young man in his twenties is hospitalized following an attack by two individuals at a pub in Sudbury.
The incident occurred at the White Horse pub on North Street in Sudbury, Suffolk, late on Saturday night. Authorities responded to reports of an injured man outside the establishment. Reports suggest that the victim was initially assaulted in the beer garden of the Comfortable Cow pub on King Street.
According to Suffolk Police, the victim was attacked by two men wearing masks and armed with a blade, resulting in a stab wound to his arm. After the assault, the victim fled the scene, with the assailants pursuing him before veering away from the pub. The injured man was swiftly taken to a hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Descriptions provided by authorities indicate that the first suspect is over 5ft 6in tall, slim, and dressed in a black Adidas-style hoodie and a balaclava. The second suspect is described as under 5ft 6in, slim, and wearing black attire along with a balaclava.
Law enforcement is treating the attack as a targeted incident, suggesting a prior connection between the victim and the perpetrators. Police are actively reviewing surveillance footage and conducting further investigations in the vicinity.
