“Adam’s Law” Judge, Son of Judge Judy, Debuts Sep. 14

A new television judge has made his debut, stepping into the spotlight with a formidable legacy to uphold. CBS Media Ventures unveiled a preview for “Adam’s Law,” a fresh daytime courtroom program featuring Adam Levy, the 58-year-old son of the renowned Judge Judy.

Fans of Judge Judy’s trademark sharp humor and no-nonsense approach will find familiar elements in Levy’s courtroom demeanor. The trailer showcases Levy’s quick wit and cutting remarks, reminiscent of his mother’s style, which earned her widespread acclaim.

Interestingly, Judge Judy initially hesitated to pass on the judicial mantle, confessing in the trailer that she wasn’t eager to relinquish her role years ago. Playfully, she remarked, “I think he has the talent to beat me — and I don’t like the idea of that.” The show, executive produced by Judge Judy, is scheduled to premiere on September 14.

Having amassed over 25 years of legal expertise, including stints as a district attorney and teaching roles, Levy brings a wealth of experience to “Adam’s Law.” Emphasizing the value of honesty in the courtroom, Levy urges litigants to tell the truth, expressing his disdain for falsehoods.

Judge Judy expressed confidence in her son’s abilities, predicting that his show will ascend to the top spot in daytime television. She praised Levy’s legal acumen and captivating personality, highlighting his deep understanding of the law and exceptional memory.

With past experience in courtroom reality TV, including roles in “Tribunal Justice” and “Justice on Trial,” Levy is well-versed in the genre. “Adam’s Law” is slated to air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S., such as CBS LA and WCBS-TV, as well as on Citytv and Citytv+ in Canada, starting on September 14.
