Clavicular, a well-known “looksmaxxing” influencer and streamer whose real name is Braden Peters, has been accused of committing a variety of offenses including rape, drugging someone for sexual activity, and supplying alcohol to a minor, as per online court documents reviewed by CBC News.
The charges against the 20-year-old were officially filed on September 8 at a courthouse in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The alleged incidents took place on May 23, 2025, according to the legal records. An arraignment is scheduled for October 14, and at present, Peters is not in custody. The individual who made the accusations has not been named in the court filings.
If found guilty, Peters could potentially face a maximum prison sentence of 20 years for the rape charge.
In response to the initial report by U.S. outlet The Bulwark, Peters’s representative issued a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, claiming that Clavicular has not been formally served with the charges and criticizing The Bulwark for sensationalizing the case for increased traffic.
Following the disclosure of the criminal charges, Peters publicly identified the plaintiff as another influencer named Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, accusing her of attempting to gain his attention through legal means. He posted a video featuring Mendoza praising him and a letter expressing gratitude for his assistance. Additionally, Peters shared a clip from a livestream where Mendoza mentioned her age as 18, although the exact date of the stream was unspecified, along with other remarks questioning her intentions and credibility.
Peters’s representative hinted that the recent charges might be related to a previous civil complaint in which Peters was accused of battery, fraud, and sexual misconduct that allegedly occurred in 2025. Legal documents from a civil case filed in Miami by Mendoza alleged that Peters injected her face with Aqualyx without her consent when she was underage. Aqualyx is a non-FDA-approved fat-dissolving substance. Mendoza also claimed that Peters engaged in sexual activity with her while she was under the influence and without her consent.
Mendoza’s lawyer declined to comment on the ongoing criminal investigation, stating that the police are handling the matter.
Known for his “looksmaxxing” content, Peters has gained popularity on social media platforms, particularly TikTok, with over a million followers. His content revolves around providing tips for individuals seeking to enhance their physical appearance through various methods, including the use of steroids, peptide injections, and facial bone modifications.
This is not the first time Peters has faced legal issues. In April, he was charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm after a video surfaced showing him shooting an alligator in the Florida Everglades. Earlier this year, he was also hospitalized following a suspected overdose during a livestream.
The extreme nature of his content has attracted significant attention and criticism from online audiences.
