“Joshua vs. Fury Showdown Nears as Negotiations Advance”

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are moving closer to a highly anticipated showdown following Eddie Hearn’s revelation that negotiations are in advanced stages.

Joshua is poised for a comeback in July after a previous fight was delayed due to a car accident shortly after his impressive victory over Jake Paul. He has been training with Oleksandr Usyk and recently made a public appearance in the UK at Derek Chisora’s match against Deontay Wilder.

During Fury’s recent fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov, Joshua was in attendance. Fury, after a dominant win, immediately called for a match against Joshua, who has yet to confirm the bout.

Hearn provided an optimistic update, stating that Joshua is gearing up for a return before facing Fury twice, with both fights expected to be broadcast on DAZN and Netflix. Hearn emphasized the importance of Joshua being mentally and physically prepared for the fight.

The potential venue for the fight was speculated to be Dublin’s Croke Park, but Hearn mentioned that the location will be determined by Turki Alalshikh. Hearn expressed hope that the fight will take place in the UK.

Hearn also discussed the promotional aspects of the fight, mentioning Sela as a likely promoter for the first bout, with discussions ongoing for the second fight on Netflix. The final decision rests with Turki Alalshikh.
