“Trump Condemns Journalist After WHCD Shooting”

In the aftermath of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting, President Donald Trump expressed intense displeasure towards a journalist who referenced excerpts from the manifesto of the alleged shooter during an interview on 60 Minutes.

Following the incident at the Washington Hilton, where shots were fired, President Trump, accompanied by his wife and senior administration officials, was swiftly evacuated to safety by Secret Service agents as attendees sought refuge under tables in the ballroom. Fortunately, only one officer sustained injuries but is expected to fully recover. Authorities suspect the attack was targeted at President Trump and other high-ranking government officials.

The alleged gunman, identified as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen from Torrance, California, reportedly sent messages to his family moments before the shooting, identifying himself as a “Friendly Federal Assassin” and expressing grievances against the US administration. Allen is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

During the CBS interview, President Trump vehemently objected to the journalist quoting from the suspect’s manifesto, denying the accusations of being a rapist, pedophile, or traitor mentioned in the document. Allen had listed administration officials as his targets, excluding FBI Director Kash Patel, and made disparaging remarks about President Trump in his writings.

Authorities uncovered anti-Trump and anti-Christian content on Allen’s social media profiles. In one message allegedly provided by his brother, Allen criticized the concept of turning the other cheek in the face of oppression, condemning what he perceived as complicity in the administration’s actions.

President Trump revealed that the First Lady was visibly shaken by the shooting incident but commended her for handling the situation with strength and composure. He emphasized her awareness of the gravity of the situation and praised her for her courage.
