The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a feature called “Data Parachute” that automatically provides users with 1GB of free data when they unexpectedly run out.
According to EE, the “Data Parachute” feature aims to keep customers connected, allowing them to communicate with loved ones or navigate using Maps until they can top up their data. These new plans start at £10 per month and offer additional benefits such as data rollover, which carries over unused data to the next month, and free data boosts to increase data allowances.
EE pay-as-you-go customers also have access to the 5G network for enhanced performance and faster speeds. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:

– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited
While EE’s Data Parachute sets it apart, other providers like SMARTY and Giffgaff offer competitive deals such as 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited for £20 from SMARTY, and 75GB for £10 or 60GB for £13 from Giffgaff.
