“Sky TV Merges Cinema Channels for Enhanced Family Viewing”

Sky TV customers can expect a change in their viewing experience starting April 30 as the company merges its Cinema channel lineup. The Sky Cinema Animation channel, previously on channel 312, has now been integrated into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to simplify access to family-friendly films by consolidating them into one channel.

Despite the channel merger, viewers will not lose any content; instead, their favorite movies like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, and others will now be available on a single channel. Sky assures customers that all content previously shown on Sky Cinema Animation will still be accessible through Sky Cinema Family.

For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make temporary comebacks during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This ensures that kids have entertainment options when they are out of school.
