“Widespread Snowstorm Forecasted to Hit UK Next Week”

A massive snowstorm spanning 742 miles is expected to hit the United Kingdom next week, covering numerous towns and cities with wintry weather conditions. Weather charts from WXCharts indicate widespread snowfall from Wick in Scotland to Plymouth in England on March 27.

This forecast comes right after a brief period of milder weather across Britain, with some areas experiencing temperatures as high as 19°C earlier in the week. However, the weather is set to drastically change as an Atlantic storm is predicted to sweep through parts of Scotland, Wales, and England next week. The heaviest snowfall is expected in Scottish regions, with up to 13cm per hour near the Highlands.

Major cities in England, including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Swansea, London, and Plymouth, are also likely to see snow accumulation ranging from 1-2cm per hour. The Met Office’s long-term forecast from March 24 to April 2 suggests variable and unsettled conditions across the UK, with low-pressure systems affecting different regions.

According to the Express, the weather is expected to be particularly windy in the beginning of the period, with the possibility of high pressure dominating later on, leading to dry weather but potential overnight fog and frost.
