The 70-year-old actress, who recently attended the Oscars, opened up during the Hot Topics segment on ABC’s The View, mentioning that she frequents bars and occasionally has casual encounters.
Stating that she is single and enjoys bar-hopping, Goldberg mentioned, “I am not married to anybody. I don’t have responsibilities.” She expressed disinterest in committing to a relationship following three divorces with Alvin Martin in 1983, DP David Claessen in 1988, and Lyle Trachtenberg in 1995, emphasizing that she is content being independent.
Throughout the years, Goldberg has had romantic involvements with individuals like playwright David Schein, actor Frank Langella, Timothy Dalton, and Ted Danson. In a 2016 interview with the NY Times Magazine, she expressed her preference for independence, stating, “I’m the round peg, and marriage is the square hole. You can’t have a square hole, can you?”
