UK Man Dies, Partner Revived After Drink Spiking in Thailand

A man from the UK passed away while his partner had to be revived multiple times after suspects allegedly spiked their drinks during their vacation. Tom Pardhy, a 38-year-old event planner, and his girlfriend Naomi Raksha, 31, were on a six-week trip in Thailand when the tragic incident occurred in Bangkok on March 6. Naomi’s mother, Heather Brown, flew to Thailand and revealed on Facebook that the couple had been given spiked drinks.

Naomi was quickly taken to the hospital in a blue tuk-tuk, where she received intubation in the Intensive Care Unit due to poisoning and recovered from a subsequent cardiac arrest. Meanwhile, Tom was discovered unresponsive about 24 hours later, as mentioned on a GoFundMe page initiated by Naomi’s brother Jonathan.

Tom, a well-known figure in London’s music scene, had worked at numerous festivals and events throughout his professional life. His untimely demise was announced on March 11 in an Instagram post signed by Naomi, his mother Joanna, and his sister Alex. The heartfelt message expressed deep sorrow over Tom’s sudden and accidental death in Bangkok, highlighting his positive impact on the East London community and beyond.

Naomi also shared a personal tribute on her social media, describing Tom as her greatest supporter and expressing profound love for him. The family requested privacy regarding the details of Tom’s passing and announced their intention to organize a gathering to honor his life. Friends and well-wishers were encouraged to use the hashtag #TLPLOVE to share their memories and messages of condolence.
