Starting her career at MTV Europe and later hosting Channel 4’s dating show Streetmate in 1998, Davina gained widespread fame in 2000 as the presenter of Big Brother, a show that attracted up to 13 million viewers at its peak. Over the years, she has hosted various TV programs, including Long Lost Family, The Jump, and served as a judge on The Masked Singer.
During a recent incident, Davina was approached by two girls, assuming they recognized her. However, one of the girls revealed to her friend that she was unfamiliar with Davina and mentioned her mother’s admiration for The Traitors, leading Davina to jest about dressing up as Claudia Winkleman in such situations.
Davina humorously shared that mix-ups like these also happen to Claudia Winkleman, citing a previous instance where a fan mistook Claudia for her. Both presenters found the confusion entertaining.
Ahead of hosting Comic Relief: Funny For Money with Catherine Tate, Davina joked about resurrecting her famous Big Brother catchphrase “please do not swear” to manage Catherine’s character, Nan.
