“Teenager’s Identity Revealed in Fatal Stabbing Case”

The identity and image of a teenager who passed away following an alleged stabbing have been disclosed.

Berkan Demir, an 18-year-old individual, lost his life at Lena Gardens in Hammersmith on Sunday, March 15, due to a neck injury inflicted by a stabbing incident, as confirmed by law enforcement authorities.

Charges of murder have been filed against a 31-year-old man. Ahmed Said, a resident of Lena Gardens aged 31, appeared in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 19.

The family of Demir has requested privacy during this difficult period.

The post-mortem examination conducted on Tuesday, March 17, revealed that Demir’s cause of death was a sharp force trauma to the left side of his neck.

The investigation is being led by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
