A 14-year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted by three individuals at a hotel in a popular vacation destination. The incident took place on the Costa del Sol, where the girl was allegedly threatened with a knife while one of the men sexually assaulted her. She had been reported missing earlier by her family, leading to a call from a hotel worker who heard her screams.
The teenager managed to escape by jumping off a balcony and seeking refuge in another room until the authorities arrived. Spanish police have apprehended three suspects, one of whom is a minor, for allegedly sexually abusing and restraining the girl.
One of the suspects faces charges of illegal detention, sexual assault, serious threats, and a public health offense, while the other two are being held on suspicion of kidnapping and a public health violation.
This incident follows a previous case where a British teenager was assaulted by a group known as the “wolf pack” at a hotel in Magaluf. The perpetrators, consisting of seven French men and one Swiss man, accepted prison sentences totaling over 73 years for the crime.
The accused men agreed to a plea deal just before trial, admitting to the crimes committed at the Spanish hotel. If convicted at trial, they could have faced up to 150 years in prison.
