“Tattooed Man Sought in Bristol Child Assault Case”

Police are searching for a tattooed man following a sexual assault on a child. Forensic teams and investigators have arrived in the Brislington area of Bristol, where the incident occurred around 10:30 am on Tuesday. Authorities have cordoned off a wooded area near West Town Lane as they secure the crime scene.

Avon and Somerset Police are examining CCTV footage to identify the suspect, who is described as a man of mixed heritage in his early 20s, with braided hair and a tattoo on his left forearm. The individual was reportedly wearing a white hoodie, black jacket, jogging bottoms, and black trainers at the time of the assault.

The victim, a secondary school-aged girl, is receiving support from specialized detectives. Neighbourhood Sergeant Chris Downham emphasized the ongoing investigation, reassuring the community that patrols are increased in the area.
