A non-league football game was interrupted for about an hour due to reported disturbances among spectators. The match between Yate Town FC and Weymouth FC was halted shortly after kickoff when Weymouth FC scored a goal.

Weymouth FC later updated supporters at 3:38 pm, stating that play was delayed due to an incident at the stadium.

The match resumed at 4:00 pm with 44 minutes remaining in the first half following an incident at the venue. Reports indicate a brawl between home and away fans during the disruption.

The Southern League fixture took place at Yate Town’s Lodge Road ground and restarted with Weymouth leading 1-0. Weymouth extended their lead to 2-0 by halftime. Despite Yate Town receiving a yellow card in the 88th minute and three minutes of stoppage time, Weymouth secured a 2-0 victory.
