Sky TV customers are in for a pleasant surprise with a recent upgrade that grants them free access to Disney+. This complimentary addition to the Sky Ultimate plan includes popular content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel without any extra charges.
The enhanced package doesn’t stop at Disney+. Sky is set to introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu to its offerings soon. The integration of Disney+ content across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms ensures a seamless viewing experience with features like Continue Watching, search options, and voice control.
Moreover, Sky Cinema subscribers can enjoy a new Disney+ Cinema channel. For non-Sky customers, the Sky Ultimate package is now available to all UK households starting at £24 per month, offering a comprehensive lineup of services.
The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching soon), full access to Hayu, and over 130 Sky channels. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized that the update aims to simplify streaming by bringing Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu together in one subscription.
Millions of existing customers will benefit from the expanded lineup at no additional cost. NOW Entertainment users will receive HBO Max within the app without extra charges. Sky’s focus on streamlining services and providing a unified viewing experience remains at the forefront of these changes.
