“Serial Killer Rose West Living Lavish Life in Prison”

Twisted serial killer Rose West is reportedly leading a comfortable life in prison, described as a “gilded existence,” just a few months after an alleged sexual assault on a 20-year-old inmate. Despite being convicted for the murders of ten women and girls and serving a whole-life term, West faced repercussions for the assault at HMP New Hall but quickly had her privileges reinstated for the sake of her mental well-being.

Her restored luxuries include access to daytime television, chocolate, and a specially-adapted single cell to prevent interaction with other prisoners at the high-security facility. While imprisoned since 1995 for her involvement in nine murders with her husband Fred, West, despite her age, is still deemed “dangerous” by fellow inmates, who were shocked by the recent assault incident.

Authorities have implemented a detailed ‘Handling Plan’ for West, situated in a customized ‘disabled’ unit within the prison, which prohibits the use of restraints or handcuffs due to safety concerns. Following the assault, prison psychologists recommended lifting the TV ban for West’s mental well-being.

After being found guilty in an adjudication over the assault, West had several privileges revoked, including TV and DVD rights, and extra canteen allowances. However, her perks were reinstated after demonstrating good behavior for four weeks, with prison officials reportedly opting not to involve the police in the assault case.

With restricted interactions and closely monitored movements, West spends most of her time in her cell watching television, crocheting, and indulging in canteen chocolates. Despite being in poor health, she is under constant watch by guards and is limited in her social interactions within the prison.

Having received numerous life sentences for the gruesome murders committed with her late husband, West has spent over 30 years behind bars and has been transferred to various prisons for safety reasons. Despite conflicts with fellow inmates and a history of affairs in prison, West’s current routine involves solitary activities like cooking, knitting, and solitary TV watching.

The Ministry of Justice affirmed that a prisoner at HMP New Hall faced sanctions following an incident, indicating a response to the recent assault allegations.
