“Security Guard Shoves Elderly Man Into Store Window”

A security guard was caught on camera apparently shoving an elderly man into a glass shop window at a Morrisons supermarket in Neath, South Wales. Eyewitnesses reported that the altercation began when the alarm sounded as the man exited the store with his purchased items. The elderly man showed his receipt to the guard, explaining that the alarm had also sounded when he entered the store.

The situation escalated quickly, with another shopper capturing the incident on camera. The footage showed a physical altercation between the pensioner and the security guard, culminating in the elderly man being pushed into the window before both men fell to the ground. Morrisons staff intervened, and the security guard eventually returned inside the store.

Following the incident, Morrisons initiated an investigation into the video that circulated online. A company spokesperson emphasized the chain’s commitment to customer and staff safety. In a statement, Morrisons stated, “We take the safety and security of our colleagues and customers very seriously, and our guarding supplier is cooperating with us to investigate this urgently.”

This incident comes in the wake of a separate video showing chaos at a Primark store, where security guards were involved in a scuffle with a young woman suspected of shoplifting. The footage depicted a struggle between security personnel and female suspects trying to leave the store. Despite the security guards’ efforts, the women managed to flee through the store’s doors. Primark assured that they are investigating the incident and prioritize customer and staff safety.
