The upcoming season of Last One Laughing UK will premiere on Prime Video on March 19, showcasing a fresh lineup of comedians engaging in a battle to make each other laugh.
Jimmy Carr, the host, highlighted Sam Campbell as the standout talent for the new series, praising his comedic abilities and predicting that he will gain widespread recognition.
Sam Campbell, an Australian comedian and actor born in the early 90s, revealed that he had a petite stature in his youth. In a candid interview, he disclosed that his parents had considered using growth hormones to help him grow due to his small size.
Having spent his formative years in Brisbane and later relocating to Sydney, Campbell eventually made the move to the UK in 2022. During his time in Australia, he produced a short series for Comedy Central and appeared on ABC TV’s The Checkout.
After securing a global talent visa, Campbell ventured to the UK where he achieved success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, earning the festival’s top accolade. He later triumphed on the popular Channel 4 show Taskmaster.
Campbell’s diverse portfolio includes portraying Cletus in the horror film Red Christmas and landing a role in the comedy spy TV series New Zealand Spy.
