Carole Middleton, the mother of Princess of Wales, was seen enjoying a day at Cheltenham’s Ladies Day with Queen Camilla. They were spotted walking arm in arm at the Cheltenham Festival, exuding glamour and joy. Carole, a grandmother to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, later observed the races from a box alongside Princess Anne. She looked stylish in a thick grey coat paired with brown suede boots and a striking blue fedora hat by Hicks & Brown, adorned with a graceful feather.
Carole’s fashion choice raised eyebrows as she sported a rare black vintage Hermes Birkin bag, valued at up to £50,000 on resale sites. The hat she wore seemed reminiscent of one previously worn by her daughter Kate to a church service in 2020.
Meanwhile, Queen Camilla celebrated women’s achievements in sports at Cheltenham, commending the first black woman to win a jump race as “brilliant.” She met with inspiring women in the sport, including jockey Rachael Blackmore, who made history by winning both the Grand National and the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Camilla engaged with jockey Aamilah Aswat, the first black woman to win a jump race in the UK, and also interacted with members of the Rugby World Cup-winning Red Roses team. After a cheerful exchange with Zara Tindall, Camilla headed to the royal box to join her family members for the rest of the event.
