“Rising Star Chase Infiniti to Present at Oscars”

Chase Infiniti, a rising star in Hollywood, has quickly garnered attention with just two significant roles to her name. Her standout performance in “One Battle After Another” alongside industry heavyweight Leonardo DiCaprio has contributed to her growing fame.

Although her co-stars received nominations at this year’s Oscars, Chase did not secure a nod. However, she is slated to present an award at the ceremony, broadcast on ITV1 tonight at 10.15pm, which is expected to draw interest from viewers eager to learn more about her background.

Born as Chase Infiniti Payne in Indiana, America, the 25-year-old actress revealed that her name was inspired by iconic films such as “Batman Forever” and “Toy Story.” Her parents, impressed by Nicole Kidman’s character Chase Meridian in “Batman Forever,” decided on the first name “Chase.” For the middle name, they drew inspiration from Buzz Lightyear’s famous phrase “To infinity and beyond!”

Reflecting on her unique name, Chase humorously shared in an interview that her parents seemed to have foreseen her future in the movie industry. Despite online rumors suggesting she is the daughter of Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn, these claims are merely internet jokes related to their characters in the political drama “Scandal.”

Chase has been making waves in the entertainment industry, starring in Apple TV’s “Presumed Innocence” with Jake Gyllenhaal in 2024, followed by a notable role in “One Battle After Another” in 2025, where she portrayed Leo’s on-screen daughter, Willa. Her impressive performances have earned her nominations for prestigious awards like the BAFTA, Critics Choice Award, and Golden Globe.

Despite the buzz around her during awards season, some fans were surprised when she didn’t receive an Oscar nomination, leading to discussions about her being snubbed. Looking ahead, Chase is set to appear in “The Handmaid’s Tale” sequel, “The Testaments,” premiering on April 8.

As the Oscars air on ITV1 and ITVX tonight at 10.15pm, Chase’s growing popularity continues to captivate audiences, solidifying her status as a rising star in the entertainment industry.
