A woman in Poland has been sentenced to six years in prison for a calculated poisoning plot against her co-worker. The culprit, MaĆgorzata W, was caught on camera adding a toxic substance to her colleague’s tea. The victim, who noticed her drinks changing color and taste, suffered severe symptoms including stomach pain and breathing difficulties.
Doctors confirmed that the victim had internal chemical burns from ingesting cleaning agents. The poisoning campaign lasted six weeks, with cleaning products added to the drinks multiple times. The incident took place at a Polish Radio building in Warsaw, where tensions between the women had been escalating due to work performance issues.
Despite another woman being accused of knowing about the plot, she was acquitted due to insufficient evidence. The court emphasized the severity of the offense, stating that MaĆgorzata’s actions endangered the victim’s life. The victim’s vigilance in installing a hidden camera led to the exposure of the poisoning scheme, preventing potentially fatal consequences.
