“Newly Discovered Son of Bee Gees Legend Maurice Gibb Surfaces”

In a recent episode of the Louis Theroux podcast, the renowned singer Lulu, aged 77, made a surprising revelation regarding Maurice Gibb. Lulu mentioned that she had just discovered Maurice might have a son from a past relationship. She indicated that this revelation came as news to her, suggesting that the child was conceived after a one-night stand with Maurice and that the son has inherited Maurice’s genes entirely.

Contrary to Lulu’s statement, Nick Endacott-Gibb, aged 57, affirmed that Maurice Gibb was indeed his father following a DNA test conducted online in 2019. Nick clarified that he was conceived before Lulu and Maurice began their relationship. Lulu and Maurice commenced dating in 1969 after meeting on Top of the Pops, tying the knot in the same year, and eventually divorcing in 1973.

Nick, residing in Hove, East Sussex, shared that he was born in April 1968, conceived in August 1967, before Lulu and Maurice’s marriage. Expressing his curiosity about the timeline of events, Nick questioned whether Maurice was involved with Lulu during his conception, emphasizing the historical context of the “summer of love.”

Having been adopted from a children’s home at 18 months, Nick, raised in East Sussex with his family, embarked on a quest to find his biological parents. His search led him to his biological mother, Patti Nolder, a former music studio manager, who initially identified Chris Andrews as Nick’s father. However, subsequent DNA tests disproved this claim, leading to the revelation that Maurice Gibb was his biological father.

After connecting with Maurice’s family members, Nick formed a music project named Cousins Gibb with his newfound relatives and recorded their rendition of the song “Tragedy.” Despite his regret over not meeting Maurice, Nick expressed gratitude for discovering his biological family and the musical legacy carried on by the Gibb brothers.

Nick is set to reunite with Debbie, his cousin and music partner, for the upcoming UK tour of the Best of the Bee Gees tribute act. Additionally, he will release an album in collaboration with Carl Wright under the music partnership Mojosonic. The Gibb family members, including Lesley Evans and Debbie, have warmly embraced Nick, acknowledging his musical talents and his rightful place within the Gibb legacy.
