Reports have emerged following speculations that Khamenei was flown to Moscow for leg surgery, a procedure reportedly offered by Putin after sustaining injuries in airstrikes. Recently, Trump raised doubts about Khamenei’s well-being, expressing concerns about his absence since assuming leadership.
In an interview with NBC, Trump questioned Khamenei’s status, suggesting that if alive, he should act in the best interest of his country. Allegations surfaced through leaked audio indicating Khamenei narrowly escaped death during a missile attack on his residence. Reports also mentioned severe injuries, potential leg amputation, and internal organ damage.
US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard provided an update on Khamenei’s condition, confirming severe injuries resulting from an Israeli attack. Khamenei, son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was appointed as the new leader but had been out of the public eye since his appointment.
