“Mojtaba Khamenei Injured, Named Iran’s New Supreme Leader”

The latest reports indicate that Mojtaba Khamenei, the newly appointed Supreme Leader of Iran and son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has sustained injuries. Mojtaba, aged 56, was officially declared as his father’s successor on Sunday by the regime’s 88-member assembly.

Iranian state TV broadcasted the news of Mojtaba’s appointment as the Supreme Leader, mentioning his injuries sustained during the “Ramadan war” where he was described as “janbaz,” wounded by the enemy. Although no specific details were provided on the nature of his injuries, it was noted that both his wife and father were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Tehran on the conflict’s first day.

According to the news report, the new Supreme Leader is proficient in English, has studied psychology, and possesses knowledge in various fields including politics, modern technologies, military sciences, and security affairs.

In response to the leadership transition in Iran, Israel has vowed to “eliminate” any successor to Ayatollah Khamenei, asserting their commitment to pursuing and neutralizing any individual designated as a successor.

Crowds in Tehran were seen celebrating Mojtaba’s new role as Supreme Leader, with people chanting and waving flags in support. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump criticized Mojtaba, labeling him as a “lightweight” and insisting on personal involvement in the selection of Iran’s next leader.

Despite not being a senior cleric or holding any previous official positions, Mojtaba Khamenei reportedly enjoys backing from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and was selected by Iran’s Assembly of Experts, allegedly under pressure from the IRGC.
