“Missile Strikes Hit Gulf Targets After Iran Warning”

Recent missile strikes originating from Iran have targeted multiple locations in Gulf nations.

Qatar has reported a fire at the Ras Laffan gas facility, with its civil defense units actively responding, while explosions have been observed at various sites in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. These attacks occurred shortly after Iran issued a warning of targeting energy infrastructure throughout the Middle East in response to an Israeli assault on its South Pars gas field.

Expressing strong condemnation, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majed Al Ansari, criticized the Israeli aggression as “reckless and irresponsible.”

QatarEnergy has officially confirmed that missile strikes targeted Ras Laffan Industrial City. The company assured that all staff members are safe, and there have been no reported casualties.

The Ministry of Interior in Qatar has verified that emergency response units are actively managing a fire at Ras Laffan, a significant oil-processing facility located approximately 50 miles north of Doha.

In a separate incident, multiple locations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were targeted following Iran’s threats to strike energy installations across the region in response to the Israeli offensive earlier in the day.

South Pars, situated in the Persian Gulf, represents a segment of the largest natural gas field globally, shared between Iran and Qatar.
