Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have once again refuted Ray J’s claims that they were involved in leaking a sex tape in 2007. Ray J, who was previously in a relationship with Kim, accused the mother-daughter duo of sharing the infamous tape with the reality TV star.
Last year, Kim and Kris filed a lawsuit against Ray J after he suggested that racketeering charges against their family were warranted. In response, Ray J countersued them, alleging their involvement in the release of his and Kim’s 2003 sex tape.
In a recent statement filed in Los Angeles and obtained by People magazine, Kim clarified that she was denying any association with the leaked tape. She mentioned the financial costs incurred in combatting the allegations and managing her reputation, including therapy sessions and collaboration with professional advisors.
Kim emphasized that the claims made by Ray J about a deliberate plan to release the sex tape were false. Similarly, Kris reiterated that she did not participate in or orchestrate any filming or distribution of such tapes involving her daughter.
Ray J, who dated Kim from 2003 to 2006, has previously criticized Kris for spreading falsehoods about him. He accused Kris of introducing him to the CEO of Vivid, the company that released the sex tape, insinuating a conspiracy to harm his family.
Despite the ongoing controversy, Kim’s ex-partner Kanye West was also dragged into the situation as Ray J vented frustrations about alleged false stories circulating about him. Ray J’s accusations of Kris orchestrating a scheme to benefit her family at his expense have further fueled the dispute.
