Junior Andre recently shared that his childhood dream of becoming a footballer was shattered by his mother, Katie. Despite being scouted and having a passion for the sport, Junior was discouraged by his mother, who bluntly told him he wasn’t good enough to pursue a professional football career. As a result, he is now focusing on pursuing a career in acting and music, inspired by his father, Peter Andre.
Reflecting on his past aspirations, Junior humorously recounted his mother’s impactful words on the Not My Bagg podcast. He recalled Katie’s straightforward assessment of his football skills, which led him to shift his focus towards entertainment. Although Junior did participate in football leagues and even received scouting opportunities from clubs like Millwall, Brighton, and Chelsea, he admitted that he never reached the level of skill required for professional play.
Transitioning into the entertainment industry, Junior recently made his acting debut in a film titled Finding My Voice, where he stars alongside his father and EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan. Additionally, he has been working on his music career, as showcased in an episode of his sister’s reality TV show. Despite facing challenges, including working full-time for Transport For London while resolving issues with his record label, Junior remains dedicated to his passion for music.
Acknowledging his brother’s resilience and hard work, Princess expressed pride in Junior’s achievements, highlighting his determination to balance work and music responsibilities. The siblings also shared touching moments with their elder brother, Harvey Price, who has faced online bullying due to his health conditions. Junior emphasized the importance of love and support for Harvey, condemning the hurtful comments directed at him.
Amidst the family dynamics and career pursuits, Junior’s journey serves as a testament to his perseverance and determination to carve out his own path in the entertainment industry.
