Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson recently shared his six-word mantra driven by impatience and discussed his struggles with electric vehicles. In his Sunday Times column, the veteran motoring journalist admitted to lacking the patience for even a 10-minute wait while an electric car charges. He expressed similar frustrations with technology like his Sky box and elevators without door close buttons.
Clarkson expressed confusion about the workings of electric cars, pondering the presence of dual motors in some models. He questioned the necessity and functionality of such features. These sentiments highlight his ongoing challenges as he transitions from TV presenter to farmer at Diddly Squat farm. The hit Amazon Prime show “Clarkson’s Farm” is set to return for its fifth season in May.
However, the production of the sixth season faced setbacks due to adverse weather conditions and a temporary closure caused by an outbreak of bovine tuberculosis. Clarkson also mentioned a sick donkey as one of the farm’s current concerns. Speaking on the My Week in Cars podcast, Clarkson emphasized the unpredictable nature of running a farm, stressing that real-life events like animal illnesses cannot be scripted. He described the waiting game involved in farming, from monitoring the weather to observing animal behavior.
