Singer Jane McDonald recently revealed that she did not have romantic feelings for her former husband, Henrik Brixen. Despite their five-year marriage, which ended in divorce in 2003, Jane described their separation as a positive decision. She shared on a podcast that she was unaware of her lack of love for Henrik, despite others noticing the strain in their relationship.
Following her divorce, Jane found love again with Eddie Rothe, the late drummer of The Searchers. Tragically, Eddie passed away from lung cancer in March 2021. Jane expressed that she continues to remember him fondly every day.
Reflecting on her past relationships, Jane explained that although her split from Henrik was amicable, he struggled to navigate the music industry as her manager. She emphasized the importance of understanding the industry’s dynamics and how she had to learn to navigate it independently after being dropped from her record labels.
In her autobiography, Jane previously shared that she felt isolated in her marriage to Henrik, especially after he expressed his reluctance to have children.
