“Iran Threatens Assassination of US President Trump”

Iran has issued a direct threat of assassination towards US President Donald Trump. The threat was in response to Trump’s warning that Iran would face severe consequences if it obstructed the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.

Ali Ardashir Larijani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, dismissed Trump’s threats, stating that the Iranian nation is resilient and not intimidated by empty rhetoric. The message cautioned Trump to be wary of the consequences of his actions.

The statement, signed by the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, was delivered from Tehran on March 19, 1404, ten days following the death of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

In a social media post, Trump reiterated his strong stance against Iran, emphasizing that severe repercussions, including “Death, Fire, and Fury,” would befall the country if it disrupted oil flow through the critical Strait of Hormuz. This threat caused a significant spike in global oil prices, with a barrel reaching over $100.

The ongoing conflict in the Middle East escalated after joint military operations by the US and Israel targeted key Iranian sites, resulting in the death of Iran’s leader. In retaliation, Iran launched attacks across the region, sparking further hostilities and plunging the Middle East into war.

Despite Trump’s optimism for a swift resolution to the conflict, the situation remains volatile. His aggressive rhetoric and threats have had a profound impact on oil prices, which initially surged to nearly $119 per barrel before stabilizing around $90.

The tensions surrounding the Iran conflict continue to escalate, with the global community closely monitoring developments in the region.
