In close vicinity to Playa de Magaluf beach, BH Mallorca was a well-liked hotel for young vacationers seeking the vibrant party atmosphere of the Spanish town. However, in the summer of 2023, the hotel gained notoriety due to a horrific group assault that unfolded in room 108 at daybreak along the Magaluf strip.
A group of men, referred to as a “wolf pack,” subjected an 18-year-old girl to a degrading attack while filming the incident and inviting strangers to participate. This shocking event has unsettled both locals and tourists, with other guests also expressing safety concerns at the adult-oriented resort, citing issues such as break-ins, unclean conditions, and unruly visitors.
Following the distressing incident, BH Mallorca ceased operations in 2024, just over a year later, marking the end with a final pool party. The hotel, previously part of the Palladium Hotel Group, underwent a transformation and was rebranded as Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark by the Fergus Group.
Known for its lively pool parties, resident DJs, and a bar offering cocktails, the hotel attracted numerous fun-loving individuals, especially due to its proximity to the popular BCM super-club. Despite its past allure, some former guests were appalled by their experiences, reporting hygiene issues, subpar services, and safety lapses.
The revamped site, now known as Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark Hotel, caters to family-oriented vacations, featuring colorful water slides for children and a kids’ club. While the venue has shifted from its party-centric past to a more family-friendly image, noise disturbances from the surrounding party area remain a concern for some guests.
The Fergus Group and Palladium Group have been contacted for comments by The Mirror on these developments.
