Former Lionesses Star Jill Scott Opens Coffee Shop Near Etihad

Jill Scott, a former Manchester City player and the second-highest capped player in Lionesses’ history with 161 appearances, has transitioned from the football field to running a coffee shop just a short distance from her previous workplace at the Etihad Stadium. Known for her contributions to the Lionesses’ success in the 2022 European Championships and her fiery presence on the pitch, Scott now co-owns a café named BOXX2BOXX with her fiancée Shelly Unitt, symbolizing her role as a box-to-box midfielder during her playing career.

Despite her soccer background, Scott shared that she is not heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop. In a recent interview, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to venture into different endeavors post-retirement, emphasizing the community-centric nature of the café.

Since retiring from football, Scott has ventured into television, where she appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and was crowned Queen of the Jungle. When asked about potential future TV appearances, she mentioned being open to new opportunities following her positive reality TV experience.

Looking ahead, Scott is gearing up to participate in Soccer Aid at the London Stadium in May alongside notable personalities like AngryGinge. Excited to reconnect with fellow participants and fans, Scott is eager to engage with the diverse experiences and stories within the Soccer Aid community.

Soccer Aid for UNICEF is scheduled for Sunday, May 31st at the London Stadium, with tickets available for purchase on socceraid.org.uk. Additionally, Sky has announced a discounted Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the upcoming season, offering a wide range of live sports coverage, including over 1,400 matches across various leagues and sports.
