“Former Apprentice Star Defends Dubai Over UK Safety Concerns”

BBC personality Luisa Zissman recently shared her views that Dubai is a safer place than the UK, despite heightened tensions in the Middle East. The former Apprentice contestant took to Instagram to express her opinions.

Zissman reposted a video criticizing individuals for making jokes about the conflict and “celebrating fear”. The video highlighted the lack of empathy among people mocking those who chose to go to Dubai, many of whom are affluent influencers and celebrities. Alongside the video, Zissman commented, “The reactions and comments from English people in England towards Brits living in Dubai remind me why I left England to be here.”

Expressing concern over the current situation in Dubai, Zissman emphasized that the UK is in a worse state. She concluded her post with emojis depicting laughter and embarrassment.

Amid escalating tensions following strikes by the USA, Israel, and Iran, Zissman has been sharing updates from Dubai. The region witnessed a significant increase in conflict, with Iran launching attacks on various locations across the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates where Dubai is located.

Despite the ongoing conflict, some well-known personalities have chosen to remain in Dubai. The British Embassy has advised against non-essential travel to the UAE, urging British citizens to register their presence and follow safety protocols, including staying indoors and away from windows.

While some stars showcase normalcy on social media, the UK’s involvement in the strikes on Iran raises concerns. The UK is deploying additional fighter jets to Qatar, and Defense Secretary John Healey has not ruled out the possibility of British forces engaging in a war.
