“DOJ Video Shows Guards Near Epstein’s Cell Night of Death”

A recent video released by the Department of Justice shows surveillance footage of prison guards near Jeffrey Epstein’s cell on the night he was discovered dead. Epstein is believed to have taken his own life sometime between the last guard check at 10:30 pm on August 9 and the morning of August 10.

The guards found Epstein’s lifeless body while serving breakfast to other inmates, despite warnings on their computers reminding them that Epstein had recently been removed from suicide watch. According to DOJ documents, regular check-ins and a bunkmate were required for Epstein, with notes emphasizing the need for rounds every 30 minutes.

Officer Roberto Grijalva at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York disclosed leaving instructions for checks and a bunkmate right by the computer screen before his weekend break. Upon returning, he noticed the notes were missing. Epstein had been alone in his cell after his cellmate was transferred, and despite being advised he would get a new bunkmate, Epstein declined.

Grijalva also revealed that Epstein had extra orange sheets in his cell, which he used for hanging. This was due to officers failing to remove the previous cellmate’s sheets. Conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death persist, fueled by claims of negligence, including guards sleeping and missing checks.

While officially ruled a suicide, suspicions of foul play persist. Reports suggest Epstein may have trafficked victims through UK airports, with investigations ongoing. Multiple police forces are reviewing evidence related to Epstein’s activities, including flights into private terminals.
