“Concerns Rise Over Nancy Guthrie Abductor Striking Again”

A former FBI agent expresses concerns that Nancy Guthrie’s abductor may strike again. Jennifer Coffindaffer urges law enforcement to provide more information to safeguard the public, suspecting the involvement of multiple individuals in the case. She emphasizes the importance of public safety and collaboration in apprehending the perpetrator.

Nancy Guthrie, aged 84 and mother of renowned news anchor Savannah Guthrie, went missing from her residence in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1. Surveillance footage revealed an armed individual wearing a ski mask and gloves near Nancy’s home on the day of her disappearance, although she remains unaccounted for despite extensive investigations.

Various rewards amounting to $1.2 million have been offered for relevant information, with authorities receiving a substantial number of tips. Guthrie was last seen at her home on January 31 before her pacemaker monitoring app disconnected from her phone on February 1, indicating a possible abduction.

Coffindaffer, a retired FBI agent, highlights the need for swift action to locate Nancy and apprehend the perpetrator. She questions the exclusion of civilian search experts from the investigation, suggesting that law enforcement may be nearing an arrest. Tensions have reportedly arisen between FBI agents and local police due to access issues to evidence and alleged mishandling of the case by Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos.

Savannah Guthrie, host of NBC’s Today show, has made emotional appeals for her mother’s safe return, emphasizing Nancy’s medical needs and the family’s unwavering determination to find her.
