Looking ahead, Brenda expressed her eagerness to potentially reprise her role in a second season of “A Woman of Substance,” expressing curiosity about the future storyline. Additionally, she recently revealed her fondness for visiting a seaside town in Kent, which she considers her “happy place.”
Discussing her involvement in “A Woman of Substance,” where she stars alongside a talented cast, Brenda highlighted a personal connection to the storyline. The series follows the journey of a character named Emma Harte, paralleling Brenda’s family history of humble beginnings leading to success in life.
During a recent appearance on Lorraine, Brenda shared a touching anecdote about her parents’ early experiences, drawing parallels to the themes explored in the series. Her mother’s background as a kitchen maid and her father’s role as a chauffeur in a wealthy household resonated with the narrative of rising from humble origins to achieve greatness.
