The incident occurred at a storage rental facility located adjacent to Park Bridge Road near Oldham Road (A627) by Daisy Nook Country Park. Emergency services, including paramedics and firefighters, are currently on-site at Park Bridge Road this afternoon, as reported by Manchester Evening News. It remains unclear if this is connected to the search at the industrial unit.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were observed focusing on a silver car at the site, which was subsequently inspected. No official details about the operation have been released by the police department yet.
Witnesses also spotted several ambulances and fire trucks along Park Bridge Road, where they remained for several hours. Police officers were seen opening the gates to gain access to the site and concentrated their efforts around a car and caravans.
