A surprise visit from Amanda Holden delighted the farming choir featured on Britain’s Got Talent, as she joined their viewing party with a glass of bubbles in hand. The choir, known as the Hawkstone Farmer’s Choir, had received a heartwarming golden buzzer moment during their recent performance, which moved not only the judges but also Amanda. Her emotional response led her to hit the Golden Buzzer, securing the choir a spot in the live semi-finals.
Comprising 32 rural workers, the choir was originally brought together by Jeremy Clarkson in 2024. To celebrate their success, they organized a viewing party where Amanda made a surprise appearance, as captured in a video shared online.
The video showed Amanda initially outside the pub where the party was being held, before making her entrance. The joyous atmosphere was palpable as she mingled with the crowd, watching the golden buzzer moment unfold on a large screen. Amanda expressed her excitement in the caption of the video, mentioning her delight at catching up with the choir members and looking forward to the upcoming semi-finals.
Performing a rendition of “One Day Like This” by Elbow on the Britain’s Got Talent stage, the diverse group of farmers, ranging from 27 to 74 years old, impressed the judges and audience alike.
Amanda, addressing the choir, expressed her deep emotional connection to their performance and praised their hard work and unity. Guest judge Stacey Solomon and Alesha also commended the choir for their powerful and therapeutic musical performance.
