Amanda Holden recently reacted humorously to a Heart Radio listener who mentioned Phillip Schofield during a segment. The station’s celebrity name game involves contestants racing to identify famous faces using specific letter combinations.
During the game, contestant Ollie surprised everyone by naming Phillip when given the letters P and S. Amanda, 55, jokingly responded, “Oh, Ollie my favorite. Out of all names, you could’ve picked, Patrick Swayze, Ollie, at least!”
This incident comes after Amanda’s co-host Jamie Theakston made a recent on-air reference to Phillip. Before The Brit Awards, Amanda and Jamie were discussing outfits with host Jack Whitehall. Amanda teased Jack about his sock choice, leading Jamie to joke about not wanting to be outshined by socks.
In a playful banter, Amanda then teased Jamie about a past incident involving Phillip. Their reported feud started in 2018, following their joint hosting on This Morning. Reports surfaced that Phillip favored Rochelle Humes over Amanda as a replacement for Holly Willoughby, but ITV denied these claims, stating that such decisions are made by the production team.
Although Phillip dismissed the rumors as false and hurtful, Amanda has been open about her strained relationship with him. She once mentioned three unwelcome things in her house, including “Phillip Schofield.” Additionally, she revealed attempting to reconcile by inviting him for coffee, but he never responded, leading to a humorous exchange on-air about the failed invitation.
While a reconciliation between Amanda and Phillip seems distant, Amanda has returned to television alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and KSI for a new series of Britain’s Got Talent.
