“Apple Releases Crucial Update for iPhone Wireless Charging Glitch”

Apple has rolled out a crucial update for new iPhone users to address an issue hindering wireless charging on some devices. A small number of users have been affected by this glitch, leading to the inability to wirelessly charge their phones, relying solely on MagSafe for recharging.

The affected models include the iPhone 17 range, comprising the Pro and Pro Max versions, as well as the iPhone Air. Apple has indicated that the update resolves a problem preventing wired charging on these models when the battery is nearly depleted.

To ensure your device is up to date, navigate to Settings, then General, and select Software Update. Look out for iOS 26.5.1 and proceed to update immediately or schedule it for nighttime. It’s essential to have a stable Wi-Fi connection or unlimited mobile data as the update is a substantial 13.6GB file.

Apple enthusiasts can anticipate significant updates in the upcoming WWDC Developers Conference starting on June 8. The company is expected to unveil the new iOS 27 upgrade, introducing a range of features that could enhance device intelligence and AI capabilities.

Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed excitement for the upcoming WWDC event, highlighting the celebration of technology, innovation, and collaboration within the global developer community.
