“Trump Threatens Iran Power Plants, Strait of Hormuz Crisis Escalates”

Tensions escalate globally as Donald Trump issues a stark ultimatum to Iran, threatening to target and destroy its power facilities. Trump’s social media post warned of US strikes on Iranian power plants, with a deadline set for 11:44 PM on Monday. In response, Iran vowed to shut down the vital oil transport route, the Strait of Hormuz, and inflict irreversible damage on critical infrastructure in the Middle East until their power plants are restored.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced plans to target power plants, energy infrastructure, and technology in Israel and other regional countries with American ties. They emphasized their defensive stance but warned of retaliatory actions against any threats to their power facilities. The IRGC also hinted at broader targets beyond the region, signaling a readiness to act within 48 hours if necessary.

Iran’s Foreign Minister highlighted restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz aimed at countries involved in hostilities against Iran, while offering assistance to those staying neutral. Tehran’s control over the strategic waterway was underscored, with reports indicating a monetization strategy for passage. A source mentioned ongoing suppression of Israel and the establishment of new regulations in the Strait, calling for Trump to accept Iran’s terms to avoid political repercussions.

Recent Iranian missile strikes in southern Israel resulted in injuries to over 180 individuals, including a young boy. Dimona and Arad bore the brunt of the attacks, with significant casualties and infrastructure damage reported. Witnesses described the chaos and destruction caused by the strikes, underscoring the gravity of the situation in the affected towns.

Although the nuclear facility near Dimona remained unharmed, tensions persisted as Iran’s army vowed to target US and regional energy and water infrastructure in response to threats. Israel’s military boasted a high interception rate of ballistic missiles launched by Iran, claiming to have neutralized the majority of incoming threats. The situation remains volatile as both sides escalate their rhetoric and military actions, raising concerns about further escalation and casualties.
