“Martial Arts Legend and Actor Chuck Norris Dies at 86”

Chuck Norris, a renowned martial arts champion turned Hollywood actor famous for his role as Cordell “Cord” Walker in the TV series Walker, has passed away at the age of 86, as announced by his family. Before his acting career, Norris excelled in martial arts, winning numerous world championships and training celebrities.

His acting journey led him to star in action films and gain worldwide recognition as Cordell Walker in the long-standing series Walker, Texas Ranger, which aired from 1993 to 2001, solidifying his status as a household name. Despite his Hollywood success, Norris shifted his focus away from fame to support his wife, Gena O’Kelley, whom he married in 1998. The couple, who had twins in 2001, prioritized their family life above all else.

In 2013, Gena fell seriously ill after routine medical scans with gadolinium contrast agents, leading to long-term health complications. Norris attributed her illness to the injections and filed legal action against pharmaceutical companies, which was later dropped. He chose to step back from his film career to care for Gena, emphasizing his dedication to her well-being.

Chuck Norris is survived by his wife, Gena, and five children. The couple resided on a ranch in Navasota, Texas, where Norris established a non-profit organization in 1990. Gena now manages CForce, a water bottling facility they co-own.

Known for his commitment to fitness and family, Norris was admired for his physical and mental well-being. His sudden passing, following a medical emergency while vacationing in Hawaii, shocked many. Just before his death, Norris, known for his rigorous workout routine, appeared healthy and active, leaving behind a legacy of strength and love for his family.
