“Kent Police Officer Dies in Line of Duty Tragedy”

A tragic incident occurred this week as a young police officer lost his life due to injuries sustained while on duty.

PC Bradley Corke, aged 27 and serving with Kent Police since May 2022, was critically injured in a collision in Farningham on Thursday. Regrettably, he has passed away as confirmed by the police force.

Another colleague is currently in critical condition at the hospital from the same accident, and a member of the public involved in a separate vehicle is receiving treatment for serious injuries.

Kent Police released a statement honoring PC Corke for his selfless sacrifice in attempting to rescue others in danger. His courage, commitment, and dedication to assisting others will always be remembered.

PC Corke had been stationed in Tonbridge and had been serving in the West Kent towns. The force is providing support to his grieving family and devastated colleagues.

The police force is reaching out to witnesses or anyone with information regarding the collision to come forward and aid in the investigation.

The collision, involving a marked Ford Focus police car and a VW Scirocco, occurred on the westbound A20 London Road at the junction with Button Street in Farningham around 7.45 pm.
