Jorginho, now with Flamengo, expressed disappointment over the incident involving his wife, The Voice contestant Cat Cavelli (Catherine Harding), and her daughter Ada, with actor Jude Law.
While attending Lollapalooza in Brazil, Jorginho’s family coincidentally stayed at the same hotel as Roan, where Ada, a big fan, eagerly anticipated meeting her idol. However, things took a negative turn when Ada passed by Roan’s table.
Jorginho took to Instagram to share the upsetting ordeal, recounting how his daughter, in a moment of excitement, recognized Roan during breakfast but did not approach her. Despite merely glancing at the singer and returning to her seat, a security guard approached the family aggressively, accusing them of disrespect and harassment.
The footballer expressed disbelief at the disproportionate reaction, highlighting that his daughter was left in tears and shaken by the incident. He emphasized the importance of understanding boundaries and respect, condemning the treatment his family received.
Jorginho hoped the incident would prompt reflection on the significance of fans and the need for respectful interactions. The Mirror reached out to Chappell Roan’s representatives for comment on the matter.
