After Hurley’s recent passing, during which Ant was by the dog’s side as it took its final breaths, the last connection between the ex-couple was severed. Subsequently, they separately mourned their pet in different countries, with Ant in Portugal and Lisa in Los Angeles, arranging for Hurley to be cremated during their absence. They later retrieved their portions of Hurley’s ashes to scatter them individually at their residences as a way to honor his memory.
According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, Ant and Lisa came to an agreement to split Hurley’s ashes evenly, allowing each of them to bid a personal farewell. Ant has already received his portion, while Lisa plans to do the same upon her return from her trip. The source mentioned that the ashes would be interred separately to enable both parties to regularly pay homage to Hurley.
Hurley, a cherished brown Labrador, played a crucial role in supporting Ant through his struggles with addiction. The dog, who was euthanized at the age of 12 due to severe illness, was deeply cherished by the former couple, leading them to continue co-parenting him even after their separation, albeit without direct contact during handovers.
