Celebrity Big Brother champion Paddy Doherty reached out to his supporters, requesting prayers for his wife who is currently hospitalized fighting an illness.
The TV personality shared an update on social media, informing his followers that Roseanne is battling pneumonia. Paddy, aged 67, posted a video on TikTok from the medical ward, urging his fans to keep them in their thoughts while providing details of the situation.
Paddy, who won CBB over Kerry Katona in 2011 during his peak fame due to his role on the reality show My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, appeared visibly distressed in the video as he mentioned that medical staff were attending to his wife with drips.
Expressing gratitude for the hospital’s care, he stated, “She couldn’t be in a better place than a hospital. She’s getting attention, she’s getting looked after.” Paddy described the hospital as “the greatest place in the world” and interacted with fans who spotted him in the car park.
In closing the video, Paddy extended well wishes to viewers, saying, “Be lucky, be safe, and God bless you all.” He asked for prayers to support them during this challenging time for his wife. Numerous followers flooded the comments section with supportive messages for Paddy and Roseanne.
Married for nearly five decades since 1977, Paddy and Roseanne reside in North Wales on a traveler site. Roseanne’s health crisis follows Paddy’s own battle with prostate cancer in 2019, where he underwent a six-hour surgery and later confirmed he was cancer-free.
