“Adolescents Charged in Coventry Rape Case”

Two adolescents are facing charges following the alleged rape and sexual assault of a 17-year-old female. The incident took place in Coventry, West Midlands, specifically in the Rowleys Green area on March 15. Law enforcement officials have revealed that a 17-year-old male has been accused of rape, while an 18-year-old male has been charged with sexual assault concerning the victim. Authorities have maintained a cordon around part of Longford Canal as investigations are ongoing. The West Midlands Police disclosed to Coventry Live that the two teenagers involved have been formally charged in connection with the sexual assault and rape of the 17-year-old girl. The 18-year-old male faces charges of sexual assault, while the 17-year-old male, who remains unnamed due to legal constraints, is charged with rape. Both suspects are scheduled to appear at Warwick Crown Court on April 15 for further legal proceedings.
