Davina McCall, the host of Comic Relief, has opened up about prioritizing her health more following two health scares. The 58-year-old presenter is set to lead the night of fundraising alongside Katherine Ryan, Nick Mohammed, Joel Dommett, and Catherine Tate as Nan from The Catherine Tate Show.
After experiencing health issues, Davina made the decision to step back from full-time work to reduce stress. She was diagnosed with a rare 14mm colloid cyst in her brain during a routine health check related to her menopause advocacy efforts. Following surgery for the brain tumor, she faced memory problems and feelings of losing control.
Almost a year later, Davina disclosed that she underwent surgery for a small, early-stage breast cancer tumor, which she shared on Instagram in November 2025. The Masked Singer star discovered a lump in her breast, sought medical attention promptly, and expressed gratitude for catching it early.
During a conversation on the Miss Me? podcast, Davina spoke about embracing change in her life, especially after overcoming past struggles with addiction. She emphasized the importance of reducing stress and taking better care of herself, noting that she plans to transition to a four-day work week to achieve a more balanced life.
